Returns and Refunds Policy

At Signet Signs Ltd, we pride ourselves on the quality of our bespoke products and strive to ensure every customer is satisfied. However, due to the customised nature of our products, the following policies apply:

 

  1. Bespoke Items

    1. 1.1 All items produced by Signet Signs Ltd are bespoke and made to customer specifications. As such, they are not eligible for return or refund unless explicitly agreed in writing by the company.

    2. 1.2 It is the customer’s responsibility to thoroughly review and approve the design proof prior to production. Once approved, Signet Signs Ltd cannot be held responsible for any errors, omissions, or design issues that arise.

    3. 1.3 If a bespoke item is deemed defective due to material faults or workmanship, Signet Signs Ltd will repair or replace the item in accordance with our warranty policy (refer to warranty terms for details).

  2. Defects and Damage

    1. 2.1 Any defects or damage must be reported in writing within 48 hours of receipt of the goods, accompanied by photographic evidence.

    2. 2.2 If a defect or damage is verified as a fault of Signet Signs Ltd, we will arrange for the repair or replacement of the item. The customer may be required to return the item to us for inspection at their own cost.

    3. 2.3 Goods damaged during delivery must be reported immediately. Signet Signs Ltd will liaise with the courier to address the issue.

  3. Non-Bespoke Items

    1. 3.1 For non-bespoke items (if applicable), returns may be accepted within 14 days of receipt, provided the item is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the item.

    2. 3.2 Refunds for non-bespoke items will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item and verifying its condition. The item must be returned in a condition suitable for resale. Any damage to the item, no matter how small, will render it non-refundable.

  4. Returns Process

    1. 4.1 All returns must be authorised by Signet Signs Ltd in writing prior to the item being sent back. Unauthorised returns will not be accepted.

    3. 4.3 Include the following information in your return request:

      1. Order number or invoice number

      2. Details of the item(s) being returned

      3. Reason for the return

    4. Photographic evidence (if applicable)

      1. 4.4 Once the return is authorised, the customer will receive instructions on how to proceed.

  5. Refunds

    1. 5.1 A return does not automatically result in a refund. Refunds are issued at the discretion of Signet Signs Ltd.

    2. 5.2 Refunds will only be considered if:

      1. The item is defective due to material faults or workmanship.

      2. A non-bespoke item is returned in its original condition and packaging.

    3. 5.3 Refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 14 days of approval.

  6. Exclusions

    1. 6.1 Signet Signs Ltd does not accept returns for:

      1. Items damaged due to customer misuse, improper installation, or neglect.

      2. Items altered or repaired by the customer or a third party without prior written consent from Signet Signs Ltd.

      3. 6.2 Bespoke items that meet the approved design proof specifications.
